UPDATE: The self-directed fabric collage mini-course that’s described below—though no longer “live”—is still available to you through the blog post links and recordings of the resulting Thursday Night presentations. Set your own dates and times to learn fabric collage on your own, or with a friend or two!
Blog posts are free to access, and the three Thursday Night presentations are a live wrap-up of each set of four blog posts, available for $10 each. You can check out a trailer for each of the three video presentations (prior to purchasing) by clicking on the “Purchase” button.
There are 24 additional Thursday Night recordings available that delve further into the Fabric Collage process. Scroll to the end of post and click on the photo image to take you to the Thursday Night Showcase listing.
Looking for more instruction and inspiration to learn fabric collage? I hope so, because we’ve come up with a great opportunity to start the year off.
Between now and the end of March you can learn the entire process of fabric collage one step at a time. For instruction I will be using both existing blog posts and a new series of Thursday Night in My Studio Live! presentations.
Each Thursday in January, February, and March, my Throwback Thursday blog post will be one in a series that covers the entire process of fabric collage. If you’re already signed up to receive the blog, these posts will arrive in your email automatically. If you aren’t signed up, well, why not? Here’s a link to do so.
At the end of each month, I’ll host a Thursday Night in My Studio Live! presentation where I will review the topics covered that month and take your questions—live! You will be able to submit a photo of your fabric collage progress and ask any questions that apply to that month’s blog post topics. Registration is $10 for each month. Join one, two, or all three.
Below I’ve provided the schedule and listing of the upcoming How-To blog posts. You can review the posts by using the links provided (work ahead) or you can wait to view them when the Throwback Thursday comes out each week. The first two blog posts have already been posted.
Register for these Thursday Night in My Studio Live! presentations by using the links provided.

Susan,
Well, heck! I cannot believe that I’m missing you at Empty Spools at Asilomar for a second year! My collage friends and I braved the registration process and got into your class (twice!) only to have the darn pandemic foul up our “best laid plans”. I am kidding, of course. Truly, my heart goes out to all who are suffering loss, illness and terrible hardships. I do appreciate how fortunate we are to be healthy, safe and able to create at home. Thank you for providing so many learning opportunities. Looking forward to “seeing” you present the new series!
Best always,
Juliet
