This is another in a series of “Before Class Read” posts. I’ve been giving homework before teaching a class and I’ve found that students are much more prepared when they do the suggested reading. Previously we covered “Fabric Selection“, “Creating a Palette for Fabric Collage,” and “Sequence in Fabric Collage Part 1“. Today’s post also talks about sequence but focusing specifically on faces.

I’ve found that where you start in assembling a fabric collage can make a difference in how well your piece flows through to the finish. Some starting points can make your job harder, even confusing. Other starting points have a logic to them and can make your fabric collage life easier. So take the benefit of my experience and read the post below to learn the sequence best used when creating a face.
