As I look back on the blog posts my team and I (a.k.a. Tom and I) put together this year, I feel there are lots of good ones. But one series that stands out was my “Back to Basics” Fabric Collage. This three part series broke down fabric collage into 12 steps. Each consecutive week I featured four posts that covered next steps in the process.

Fabric collage is my art, my business, and my gift to others. I enjoy sharing fabric collage with all of you, because I’ve seen how positive, healing, and confidence building it can be—and that’s on top of just being a fun way to play with our fabrics. All good stuff.

I also don’t want anyone to feel that fabric collage is not for them because they can’t afford to learn the technique. The posts in the “Back to Basics” series are free to everyone and they cover the start to finish process.

So if you’re making New Year’s Resolutions for 2022, maybe one item on that list is to learn fabric collage, or maybe continue with or complete a piece you’ve already begun. If it is, then the following posts will help you get started, keep going, and finish.

Good luck! See you next year! 😉

And if you’re ready to take a bigger leap into the New Year with Fabric Collage:

TWO SPACES LEFT for our Live Online Fabric Collage Class for January 24-28, 2022. That’s five days plus a 1-hour private coaching session to be scheduled the week before class. For those of you who have been waiting to join such an online event, we took a good look at 2022’s schedule and realized this will likely be the only 5-Day Live Online Class until later in the fall, as I have in-person teaching obligations to fulfill in between.

Here’s the link for more information.

And here’s the link to register for the class.

This is a five-day, animals-only class. The class day typically runs from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Eastern Time to accommodate those on the west coast for whom it runs 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

And here’s a link to peruse the work and comments from our 2021 Live Online Class participants.

Please feel free to contact Tom with any other questions ([email protected]). And if you live in another part of the world where our time zones are quite incompatible, yet you’d be interested in a live online class, please let us know and maybe we could come up with an alternative solution.
