I’ve given quite a bit of thought to scissors. While I have pretty much stuck with the same model and brand my whole career—Gingher 6-inch appliqué scissors (above)—I have tried others and been exposed to others through the ones my students bring to class. Even though I’ve given them so much thought, I still can’t tell you what will work best for you. I can only tell you about my experience and pass on what others have experienced. Which of course is what this week’s Throwback Thursday does. So if you are questioning what scissors to use for fabric collage, here’s a starting point.
That said, the scissors that work well for me and for others tend to have a few key features in common. This Saturday in your regular weekly post, I’ll pass along another Top Tip that I think will help you narrow down the many choices we have. 1/2 hour time slots, $65 each
Sign-up can be for one day or multiple days—every week, every two weeks, once a month or once only. These sessions will be recorded and emailed to you, just as coaching sessions are, so they can be referred to as needed.
