You may have seen this post before: how to create an eye in fabric collage. Forming the eye as a unit, starting with the pupil and working “t0p-down, bottom-up” has been my way of working for years. If you haven’t seen this post before it may be of great help when you decide to finally tackle a collage of some living creature, whether it is a person, penguin, or a poodle.

This Saturday in your weekly post, I’ll pull together a whole gallery of fabric collaged eyes created in all sorts of variations. We’ll call that post “The Eyes Have It” (of course)—with the intent that this will be a resource for fabric collagers to refer to when they are making eyes of any sorts. Seeing how I and others have approached eyes may give you ideas and inspiration for creating your own collaged eyes.
