This week’s Throwback Thursday revisits the online follow-along class—Quilter’s Fantastical Trophy Fish—I ran in February 2024. Afterwards, I received a lot of in-progress and finished collage quilts to share (such as Terri Drimel’s fabulously patterned fish above). I was reminded of these Follow Along posts as I consider running a similar 4-part online class this fall, either in October or November. I’m considering what sort of subject to work on. Something I’ve done before? Another run at a fishy subject? A bug or butterfly? Or something else? If there is a subject you’d like to see me tackle while sharing the collage process with you live, put that suggestion in the comments or email your idea to Tom.
