This week and next week my Finish Line posts feature fabric collage birds. Way back at the end of 2018 we published two consecutive week’s worth of feathered friends. The first week included the rooster above by Nancy Patush.
This Saturday, in between the two TBTs, your regular post will introduce the first of three posts covering my January 2022 Live Online Class. My 13 students were divided into three Zoom groups—or breakout rooms. The first group will be the “Winging It” group, whose subjects were all winged creatures: two owls, two butterflies, and a bumble bee.
Let this TBT not only inspire you towards your own fabric collage with the finished winged beauties featured in the following post, but also whet your appetite for the denizens of the air my students tackled recently in class. Enjoy.
