I offer a lot of ways you can learn fabric collage online. So many that I sometimes have a hard time listing all of them myself!

Since I just recently added Live Online 5-Day Classes to my lineup of online instruction, I figured I should go back and update a post from almost exactly a year ago. This 2020 post gives a comprehensive listing of the different ways you can learn fabric collage online. I compare and contrast their costs (starting at free), depth of instruction, and types of instruction. So if you’re wondering which method is for you, this will help.

In case you need a reminder of what can be accomplished in fabric collage, this Saturday in our regular post we’ll feature student quilts from my latest Live Online Class, which finished up just one week ago. This “NOT On the Road” post will show off another great crop of fabric collage quilts.

  • I totally enjoyed and highly recommend the Sea Turtle class . It inspired me to do 7 other collage quilts during the first 10 months of the shut down and I have another huge one in production. As much as I would like to bite the financial bullet and take the week long class, my internet connection will not support it. It was hard enough watching the Sea Turtle tutorials as it was with my less than adequate ATT DSL connection. I live where cable and their new high speed lines are not an option. Sometimes I had to watch only a part or wait a day (or night) to be able to access the rest of the lesson on line. It was worth the wait but I can’t imagine how bad it would be to try and stay connected for a week.
