Over the past few months, these Throwback Thursdays have (with other posts inserted here and there) been leading you through the fabric collage process. It began back at the end of May with “Making a Pattern for Fabric Collage” and has just finished up with “Hang It Up: Making Your Art Quilt Art.”

These posts form the skeleton of the Fabric Collage Online Master Class Manual, which draws links between, expands upon, and clarifies these steps in the process. Coming soon, I will give you a preview of an interesting upgrade I am making to the Master Class Manual, free of charge (of course) to those who own it.
For some time I have been working on a quilt of my niece, Maia, tentatively called “Monarch Maia.” My Patreon supporters have been able to see videos I’ve made of the progress along the way (new Patreon supporters also gain access to these videos). My plan is to edit those videos into a informal tutorial on making a portrait which I will add to the Master Class Manual. When I give “Monarch Maia” the Quilt Stories treatment, I’ll also provide a short “trailer” announcing the upgrade to the Master Class Manual.
