Whew, I just flew in from the West Coast and boy are my arms tired! No, seriously after sixteen days of travel it’s nice to be home.
This Saturday, in your regular weekly blog post, I will go On the Road with the first of these two recent teaching venues, Madeline Island School of the Arts. That will be followed next week with a report on my visit to the Stitchin’ Post in Sisters, Oregon.
In these classes, as in any class, one of my first presentations is showing how to cut fabric. Everyone knows how scissors work. What I show them is how to cut their fabric so it is useful for fabric collage, which isn’t as easy as it sounds. The Throwback Thursday for this week tackles that basic fabric collage skill using videos and text.
