This week, there are fantastic fabric collage quilts in-progress in my current 5-day online class. These art pieces have more than made it past the beginning “messy-scary stage”—and it’ll be fun to share the end-of-week photos and thoughts in a future post. In the meantime, here’s a Throwback Thursday collection of quilts—such as Sunne Brandmeyer’s bear (above)—mostly begun in classes many years ago, then making an appearance in the fourth ever Fabric Collage Finish Line.
At the end of March, I’ll be jetting off to Santa Fe for a week-long in-person class (click here and here for my previous MISA classes in Santa Fe). After a long and cold Maine winter it will be a treat to visit someplace warm and sunny. I have another in-person class in late May at Woodland Ridge Retreat in Wisconsin (with a two new week class scheduled for April-May, 2026). Then when I return, I’ll be warming up for another Live Online Class in June (it’ll be a very creative few months). Space is still available in the June class.
