The last few months have been dotted with visits from friends that Tom and I haven’t seen in awhile. It’s been nice to notice how easily we’ve slipped back into renewing those friendships. Just last week, a fellow creative that I met soon after we moved to our little town 24 years ago, stopped by to visit after years of being elsewhere. With my sister Heidi, the three of us spent an afternoon sitting outside in the sunshine with food and drink, catching up, and reminiscing. At one point Tom ducked out the door to say hi and our friend mentioned how much she had enjoyed the kayaking videos he had been posting quite regularly for awhile—something many of you our readers, had commented on as well.
So when Tom and I sat down this week to discuss what to send out to our readers for Thursday and Saturday posts, those comments came to mind. For today’s Throwback Thursday, Tom has selected three videos to re-post. They are ones that take him back to special moments and places that have given him a sense of solace in the past. They have a calming and meditative quality that we would like to share with you today.
