Progress on Winfrieda the lace polar bear was interrupted for a while, but now I am gradually getting back to work on her. Nevertheless, she’s come a long way from where she was in January’s first post below, which my mama helped me introduce. This Saturday in your regular post, you’ll see some of that progress in the second installment in this series. Eventually there will be at least one more post taking her to conclusion.
I work best with a deadline, and I have committed to having Winfrieda appear at the New England Quilt Museum in Lowell, Massachusetts, this fall. By September 1 she has to be delivered to the museum for Animalia, a show of animal quilts. Maybe you’ll be able to stop by and see her in person!
