You can’t go any further back into the susancarlson.com archives than when you search for posts about my 20-foot long saltwater crocodile, “Crocodylus Smylus,” aka “Stevie.” My blog itself launched in November 2015 with a series of posts about the making of Stevie the crocodile. Today’s Throwback combines those four posts, along with links to other croc posts—such as when Stevie was exhibited at the International Quilt Festival-Houston and the Australasian Quilt Convention in Melbourne, along with others.

Hardware and Software Requirements: Computer, tablet, or other larger-screen device; reliable internet; ability to photograph and send images of collage in progress (a cellphone is recommended); Zoom meeting software (free to download)

Subject Matter: This class deals with animal subjects—furred, feathered, or scaled—pets, exotic animals, birds, insects, sea life, sea slugs, whatever type of animal appeals to you.
