This week I held a three-day reunion class for some folks who had attended my Live Online Classes this year. On Saturday, in your regular post I’ll show you what they accomplished. The method I use for teaching these classes was developed over the course of 2020 during my Fabric Collage Coaching sessions. Using Zoom and its “annotation” function has allowed me to cross the gap between myself and my students’ work. Drawing directly on the screen as I talk to the student has proven extremely affective.

But it wouldn’t have worked so well if I hadn’t done dozens of hours of one-on-one coaching with students last year. One of those students was Joanne Schwartz. In this week’s Throwback Thursday, I use one of Joanne’s projects ( her “Catch,” above) as a case study describing how I work with folks over Zoom.
