This week, I’m poring over my and Tom’s photos of this summer for my annual “What I Did This Summer” post, which will appear this Saturday. This post takes a break for one week from fabric collage and celebrates all the other little things that make life grand: excursions and butterflies, family and friends, pets and pears.

While I compile that post (you are forewarned that it’ll be mostly photos!), I’ve decided that this TBT should show off a few of Tom’s beautiful kayaking videos. These three have appeared before in my blog, usually as a special treat at the end of a seasonal or holiday post. While he also does more adventurous kayaking, these videos are intended to be relaxing and inspiring and just lovely to behold!

So enjoy. I hope your summer days have been been filled with beauty and serenity.
