Three and a half years ago I posted the very first Fabric Collage Finish Line. This Saturday, I’ll post the 44th(!) Finish Line. That’s hundreds of finished fabric collage quilts. (To be honest I didn’t count them all.) To celebrate this abundance of fabric collage quilts, this Throwback Thursday revisits the post that started it all, from August 27, 2016.

The cutie pup quilt above is by Joan Hodgeboom, and appears in that first Finish Line post. Joan is the former owner of the Quilt Gallery in Kalispell, Montana, and has become an in-law of sorts. Her mini-schnauzer Sally, is litter mate to our Kali, featured in a quilt of mine. Our girls will be turning 7 in just a couple months. They grow up so fast.

To view even more Finish Line quilts remember that you can search the blog by Category using the drop down menu in the right hand column (on your computer) or at the bottom of any page on your mobile device. Just select “The Finish Line.”
