Last week in your regular Saturday blog post, I published the 10th “Finish Line” of completed student work. Totaling a show of over 120 quilts based on classes I’ve taught or from my books. This Saturday I’ll post another batch of finished student work, Volume 11. For this Throwback Thursday, I thought it would be appropriate to go back to the very first Finish Line, published almost two years ago. (The featured image above is included in Volume I and created by Australian student, Anna Julia.)
As I explain in that first Finish Line, I only get to see the final product of class work when (and if) students send me photos later. I feel like a grandparent receiving photos of my grandchildren:
“Oh, look at them! They’ve grown so much since I last saw them!”
If you have photos of your finished work and would like to see them in an upcoming Finish Line, use the contact page to send them to me. Thanks in advance.

Hello
I really love the work you post. Amazing work would you by any chance could let me know where I could purchase the pattern for the elephant. Also if you sell with the fabrics and the cost?
Thank you so much looking to hear from you soon.
The elephant was an original student work so there is no pattern available. Sorry about that.
