Website Malfunction Update
You may have heard that we’re struggling to fix a pretty serious problem with the website. It was down for a period earlier this week. Currently, it is working as expected, EXCEPT: We still cannot accept payment through the website’s Shopping Cart. We have come up with a workaround for those wishing to purchase patterns, the Master Class Manual, or anything else. Please email Tom ([email protected]) with what you want to purchase and he will send a Request for Payment from PayPal, then send you the patterns or set up a Membership in the Master Class Manual for you.
Thanks for your patience while we work through this problem.
Throwback Thursday
Sandwiched between two blog posts about a recent trip to Australia, this week’s Throwback Thursday takes you back to my first trip Down Under, when I was invited to teach at Melbourn’s Australian Quilting Convention (AQC) in April 2016. That was the year “Crocodylus Smylus” (or Stevie), my 22-foot saltwater crocodile quilt attended the show with me. She made quite a splash as she returned to her homeland, as you’ll see in the post.
So be prepared for more Aussie fun this Saturday, when I present the second half of my trip to Oz.

I have always wanted to visit Australia–even more so after seeing this throwback post! And I was not aware that Stevie had been to Australia before Houston. What a magical life she has had, and will continue to inspire and amaze us. Sorry about your website woes–technology is magical when it works right, and maddening when it doesn’t. Good luck and good vibes!
