Sandwiched between two blog posts about a recent trip to Australia, this week’s Throwback Thursday takes you back to my first trip Down Under, when I was invited to teach at Melbourn’s Australian Quilting Convention (AQC) in April 2016. That was the year “Crocodylus Smylus” (or Stevie), my 22-foot saltwater crocodile quilt attended the show with me. She made quite a splash as she returned to her homeland, as you’ll see in the post.
