Last week we started a series of posts featuring the various far-flung places fabric collage has taken me to. In that post we visited the southern part of Australia around Melbourne. In this post we’ll go to the far western Australian city of Perth.
I visited Perth in May 2018. My host was Michelle Pearson of Handcrafters House, her quilt shop. From the moment I walked out of the airport, Michelle helped get me acclimated to the new time zone with a grand tour of her city and the surrounding area. Of course a highlight among the many highlights of this trip (see the many slide shows in this post!) was the chance to see and interact with the Australian wildlife (above and below).
