Some of you will be familiar with the quilts of Marilyn Davidson from previous Fabric Collage Finish Line posts. Her work is stunning. You may also recall that her quilts are mostly based on the equally stunning photographs taken by her husband Joel, who himself was featured in a recent Throwback Thursday. The partnership they have has been a fruitful one their whole lives as they ran a dentistry together then launched into a successful retirement full of family and travel. Today’s post recognizes the talent of both artists.

While Marilyn has been a friend and student of mine for years (maybe a couple decades?), this Saturday’s regular post will introduce you to Grace Crocker, a quilter who relatively recently—about two years ago—discovered fabric collage. Grace is now a self-identified fabric collage fanatic, who has since taken three of my live online classes and has created 10 finished collage quilts! At 87 years old, Grace is a marvel of energy and enthusiasm—come meet her on Saturday.
