In honor of tonight’s Full Harvest Moon, here’s a post from the past featuring some canines who might have howled at the moon once or twice in their lives. A Full Blue Moon will rise later in October, but Kathy Sandner’s portrait of her dog Blue, along with feline buddy Madison (pictured above), is included in this Throwback Thursday post. Other critters in the post include: a burro, a pair of iguanas—and a rabbit, which is also associated with the full moon. Rather than seeing the man in the moon, as we do, the Chinese culture sees a rabbit lying on its back. What do you see when you gaze at the moon?
