In this week’s Throwback Thursday you can add a little armchair traveling to your fabric collage appreciation. In this post we revisit my trip to the Seattle, Washington area with Tom last September—arriving almost exactly a year ago to the date. What a wonderful trip that was, with so many nice people and so many interesting things to do and places to visit. Many more scenic pictures along with two classes worth of Fish, Bugs, and Butterflies greet you—like Trish Grant’s fantastical fish above—by clicking the link below.

In this particular trip I have to say Tom got to go on a whole lot more adventures than I did. While I was diligently teaching my students the finer points of fabric collage, he was out with the rental car climbing mountains, paddling outrigger canoes, and attending a festival celebrating dogs. Be sure to check out his photos as well.

Don’t forget to sign up for tonight’s Thursday Night in My Studio Live! presentation when I demonstrate how to tackle TEETH in a fabric collage portrait—ever wonder how to do that? Go to the front page of my website and scroll down to the Thursday Night section to register: www.susancarlson.com
