Insects make great beginner—or refresher—subjects because they let you play with color and pattern without worrying too much about realism. Who cares what color or pattern your butterfly is? Choose your favorite shade and go with it.
Remember, to stay healthy and sane, cook yourself good food, take walks, make sure to replace at least some of the news with some good music—and make a fabric collage quilt! If we all just do what we can, it will be enough.
