This new Susan Carlson Fabric Collage eWorkshop is taken directly from my Fabric Collage Master Class Manual, in which it is included as an exercise. Not all choose to start with the spiral, but those who do say they’re glad they did. It teaches all the basics of fabric collage using a simple, low-stress project. While a small investment in time, the payoff in knowledge gained is large.
We hadn’t really planned on making this exercise available to anyone other than owners of the Master Class Manual. But things have changed. The world is changed, temporarily we hope, and we have been scrambling to provide ways to make Fabric Collage more accessible to the world of quilters out there who are staying at home, and possibly a little stressed out. I would love to do this but don’t know if I have the right fabrics. Is there a suggested list? Supply list?
Fabrics that have patterns in them are best. But if you have anything with bright colors or if you have some bags of scraps you will be all set.
How long will the class be available? I’d like to take it, but won’t have time to do it for another six months. If I purchase it now, will the link to the class still be good then?
