I first met Jerri Stroud during my Summertime Maine Quilt Retreat in June 2016. I reconnected with her this past September when I taught at Quilters Anonymous in Shoreline, WA, where she is a member. This week in your regular Saturday post, I’ll devote the entire post to her fabric collage quilts. She has created a prodigious number of them, all of which are outstanding.

For now let me re-introduce Jerri in this Throwback Thursday post. In it, Tom had the idea to pick one student from that Maine Quilt Retreat and “follow” them through the week, focusing a later blog post on their project and experience. He happened to pick Jerri. You’ll see her begin to work on the quilt of her granddaughter, Emily (above, which you’ll see completed in Saturday’s post).

Jerri also writes her own blog, exploring her quilt making. You can find that here.
