Having flown back from Australia a week ago today, it seems only fitting that this week’s Throwback Thursday revisits my previous 2016 visit to the annual Australasian Quilt Convention (AQC) in Melbourne. This will serve as a warm-up for Saturday’s upcoming post about my most recent teaching gig for the southern hemisphere’s largest quilt convention. I can honestly say, there is nothing in the ol’ U.S. of A. like AQC. Those Aussies sure know how to throw a party!

Of course, there was time for sight-seeing as well, along the Great Ocean Road and the city of Melbourne. I also took time out to cuddle some of Oz’s friendlier wildlife, while avoiding its less-than-cuddly snakes, spiders, and reptiles. Enjoy this past post. You’ll have to wait until Saturday to see me get kissed by a dingo!
