This Throwback Thursday revisits the Wisconsin Museum of Quilts and Fiber Arts where “Crocodylus Smylus” premiered. I attended the opening of that show with my buddy and student Darlene Determan (above with her elephant), who also had two of her quilts on display, which you’ll see in the blog post below.

You’ll be introduced to more of Darlene’s work this Saturday in your regular blog post, when I will feature her quilts in her own Finish Line edition. You’re in for real treat when you see her colorful and playful creations.

In the meantime, take a trip to Cedarburg, WI, to see a very fine quilt museum and an exhibit where Stevie the 20-foot long fabric collage crocodile was unveiled to the world.
