I have just returned—after a delay due to the winter storm (more on this Saturday)—from teaching a fabric collage class in Tucson, Arizona. This was my second time teaching at Tanque Verde Ranch for the Madeline Island School of the Arts (MISA). This Saturday in your regular weekly post I’ll give a rundown of that class with pictures of student work as well as scenics of the desert setting.
As a warm up, please enjoy this Throwback Thursday of my first trip to Tanque Verde in January 2017.
Fabric Collage Master Class
For instructions on the entire fabric collage process, you can purchase the Susan Carlson Fabric Collage Online Master Class Manual. Using video, photos, and text I take you from soup to nuts, beginning to end in creating your own fabric collage masterpiece.
It’s nice to see my bobcat collage in progress. I have finished her, finally. It was a fun class and I’m very happy I took it. Thanks!
Sue,
I am so excited to be in your September 30-October 4th class and payments are sent. I thought there was something about a dinner and we could bring a guest but I can’t seem to find it. We are staying at the Harpswell Inn and my husband would like to join us for whichever night that is. Do I pay now or can I pay when we get there. Please let me know how to proceed. Thank you, Barb
Barb, You can wait until you get here. We’ll do a head count when we go to dinner and I’ll ask for payment then or after dinner.
